Fon and Ferne Animal Sanctuary Sponsorhip

We are privileged with the opportunity to sponsor Ferne Animal Sanctuary, who are based in Chard, Somerset, and provide a service to people within a 40-mile radius. The sanctuary has two sole purposes. To rescue and rehome animals and the other is looking after their 300 resident animals. This sanctuary is open to the public as a place to go when they would like some peace and quiet. As a lot of the animals here have suffered, there is a chance you might not see anything, but it’s still a lovely day out in the Somerset countryside.

We have been able to support Ferne Animal Sanctuary by sponsoring them to have a willow maize and animal sculptures made by local artist Fon Cosens. We are still awaiting the final picture and we cannot wait to see the outcome. We hope that from our help and support this charity will continue their hard and dedicated work. Creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for the animals and people who are looking for some time to think and something to else to do while visiting.

Fon is so creative, she previously won a silver medal in Taunton Flower Show. We are grateful that she is helping the Ferne Animal Sanctuary by making animal sculptures and we thought we would show you some of the amazing work that she has already done. We can wait to see the finished work at Ferne Animal Sanctuary and also what Fon will do next.
